Join us on November 4th to Walk4Freedom! This unique 5K fun walk/run brings our Tucson community together to combat sex trafficking and celebrate the work that is being done in our city to eradicate this terrible abuse. Each year, passionate supporters raise thousands of dollars for programs that PREVENT sexual exploitation and cultivate a new generation of abolitionists. Just as important, the Walk4Freedom also raises awareness about how we can work together to better protect women and children in Tucson and end sex trafficking.

When: Saturday, November 4, 2017.  Registration and check-in is from 8-9am. The event starts at 9am with a short program and then the 5k, entertainment and food following. Give yourself plenty of time to park and check-in, you won't get bored before the event starts - we'll have a photo booth, face painting, music, and more!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much is the registration fee? The registration fee is $25 for adults and $12 for children 12 and under. EARLY REGISTRATION - Before October 20th, adults are $20 and children are $10. Sign up early and save!

What does my registration fee include? Entry into the event, a Walk4Freedom t-shirt, food, entertainment, a personal fundraising webpage, and family friendly activities (bouncy houses, DJ, face painting, photo booth)

When must I register by?  You can register up until and on the day of the event, BUT T-shirt orders will be placed on October 22nd and we can't guarantee your shirt will be ready and waiting at the event for day-of registrations due to limited sizes/quantities. So, register by 10/22 to ensure your shirt is ready and waiting!

 We strongly encourage everyone to consider using the W4F as an opportunity to help fundraise and invite other people to support you and get involved in the fight to end sex trafficking. How do I fundraise? Once you register you will be able to access your own Walk4Freedom webpage where you will be able to set your own personal goal of how much you want to raise and explain to friends and family why you are wanting to participate in this event. We have TONS of resources and ideas to make fundraising easy HERE.

Are there incentives for fundraising? Yes! As our way of saying THANK YOU to participants for their hard work fundraising, we have a variety of gifts. Individuals who raise $150 or more will receive a Sold No More pen. Individuals who raise $250 or more will receive a pen and a 20 ounce custom Walk4Freedom waterbottle or a Sold No More tumbler cup. Individuals who raise $500 or more will receive all the W4F goodies and a Sold No More tote bag or book. Individuals who raise $1,000 or more will receive all of the above, PLUS one of our unique, inspiring and comfortable Injustice sweatshirts.

Where are the funds going? Funds from the Walk4Freedom are used to support our Power Over Predators program that is designed to PREVENT trafficking and exploitation and SUPPORT the empowerment of our youth, as well as training for those working with at-risk youth to recognize trafficking.

Is it kid friendly? Can I bring my children? YES! This is a family friendly event and all are welcome! There will be a bouncy house, face painting, photo booth, music, and fun! We greatly encourage children to consider dressing up as their favorite "freedom fighter!"

What if I am unable to run a 5k due to personal injuries, etc? No problem! You can walk the 5K path OR if you're unable to participate, you can still be a "virtual participant," and register and fund raise for the cause!
