Volunteering with Sold No More

We believe that people are most effective when they work in an area that best utilizes their talents, experiences and passions. We certainly don't want to hold people back and while we have many volunteer opportunities available, we are also continually amazed at the creative, powerful or incredibly important behind-the-scenes ways people come up with to volunteer that we hadn't shared or realized we needed. If you're not sure where you want to volunteer, but feel led to get involved, we want to get to know you and help you figure out what would be the best fit for you. If you know how you want to be involved, share that with us too! There is a place for EVERYONE in the fight to combat trafficking and we need YOU -- whether that is in raising awareness, speaking, event planning, working on our support team or coming in and doing work in our office -- we want to help you find your place.

Some of our current or upcoming needs:

1) People to help plan our fundraising events (Walk4Freedom in the fall and Comedy 4 Freedom in the spring)

2) Office/Clerical Work: mailings, phoning, ect.

3) Volunteers with grant writing experience to help write grants or to help research available grants and new funding sources

4) Office cleaning: 1-2 hours a month

5) Social media or graphic design support

6) Office landscape maintenance: 1-2 hours a month

7) Support our presentation speakers: Assist in presentations by passing out flyers, talking to students, ect.

8) Represent Sold No More at church or community events by hosting a table

9) Hold a "drive" to collect gently-used dresses for Free Ever After (learn more at FreeEverAfter.org) or items to be used for girls we work with
