Plan an Event
Some brilliant ideas we've seen people come up with in the past: Host a yoga night, a wine tasting, an outdoor film screening of one of our documentaries (learn more about film screenings HERE), a dance, etc. Invite friends, sell tickets and begin planning something incredible!
Host a "Drive" or Donate Needed Resources
1) Gifts for Girls: At the beginning of our 10 week My Life/My Choice groups we "gift" participants with a bag full of materials and sweet treats to help reduce some anxiety about starting the group. Needed items for bags may include cute journals, pens, lotion, lip gloss, candy, and more. You can find a "wish list" on Amazon by clicking HERE, can purchase items on your own, host a drive with a group/church/organization you work with or donate the cost of a bag ($12)
2) Dress Drive: Our partner organization, Free Ever After, sells gently-used wedding and formal dresses. Consider donating your beautiful dress for this important cause or holding a drive to gather dresses from people in your life.
Birthdays and Holidays
Donate your birthday or holiday to help fight trafficking! Ask friends and loved ones to make a donation in your name to Sold No More in lieu of gifts or create your own birthday/event, set a goal and begin getting others on board. Celebrate and help victims of trafficking at the same time!
Get Fit to Fight Trafficking
Run a marathon, walk 10 miles, set up a race or a competitive kickball game - ask friends and family to support your effort by donating!
A Tribute Gift
Give a gift in someone else's honor to celebrate their passion for justice and freedom! This could be a gift for Mother's Day, Father's Day, an important life event or to celebrate the memory of someone you loved. Let us know and we'd be happy to send a card sharing about your gift with that person or their family.
Think Outside the Box
Be creative - you love to bake? Host a bakesale! Dye your hair, try for the world's longest dancing record, anything to get others excited and energized to contribute to the fight to end trafficking!
